Modular coffee tables edition Cidue, by Willy Rizzo from the 1970s.

This elegant pair of modular Italian coffee tables from the 1970s was produced by the Cidue company, as evidenced by the original label. The set consists of two square tables of different heights. Their design allows them to be arranged independently or combined by partially overlapping the two tops. This modularity enables the composition to evolve while emphasising the architectural character of the design. Each table features a smoked mirror top, highlighted by a fine gold metal frame. The reflective sides visually extend the top. The contrast between the black, the smoked mirror, and the gold details is characteristic of a certain sophisticated Italian production from the 1970s. The design particularly evokes the vocabulary developed during this period by Willy Rizzo, of which Cidue produced several table models. Overall vintage condition is good. Signs of use consistent with age: fine scratches and small marks on the surfaces that are not serious.
