If "sexy" is the first word that springs to mind when seeing hollein's creation, you are right. The sofa's postmodern design is inspired by marilyn monroe's notorious "skirt scene" in the seven year itch, marvelously transposed into flowing shapes and curves. The seat, pillows and backrest have been reupholstered in fine blue and white silk, and fit wonderfully into the base, with its progressively retracting curves veneered in maple root wood.
