Accolay ceramic sun lamp, 1970

Large and rare lamp designed by Georges Pelletier for the potters of Accolay (Yonne) from the 1970s. A beautiful example of the poetic and bold craftsmanship of the Burgundy workshop. The foot in glazed ceramic, handcrafted, features a textured decor and deep shades of glass shards typical of Accolay creations. Its original translucent resin lampshade diffuses a soft and warm light, tinted amber, which beautifully highlights the texture of the base. An authentic piece, both decorative and rich in history, perfect on a vintage sideboard, a bench, or simply placed on the floor. Condition: very good original condition, functional electricity.
