Veneer Rosewood and Maple Vanity with Bakelite Handles

This original Italian Art Deco dressing table is entirely veneered with precious essences such as rosewood and bird's-eye maple. The contrast between the warm brown tones and the yellow and light brown hues of these two woods showcases the mastery of the cabinet maker. The rosewood and maple wood essences alternate continuously. The rectangular mirror features soft edges and is raised on a curvy piece of rosewood-veneered wood. The beautifully grained rosewood is used for the top as well. Two centered drawers, crafted entirely from bird's-eye maple veneer, provide practical storage compartments on each side. The lower part of this stylish dressing table is made of rosewood and includes three drawers on each side. The drawer handles are original orange Bakelite with silver metal accents. This curvaceous Art Deco vanity combines elegant design and functionality, offering eight spacious drawers, storage compartments, and shelves, making it perfect for organizing jewelry, beauty products, and more. This piece has been conservatively restored using a shining shellac finish to maintain its original patina, highlighting its integrity.
