Vintage ‘Lichtstruktur’ Pendant by Trix and Robert Haussmann

Designed in the mid-1960s by the famous Swiss architects Trix and Robert Haussmann, this modular lamp fits perfectly within the popular Space Age design trend of that time, when science, futurism, and space travel were enormously popular worldwide. It is completely logical that this ceiling lamp, which bears the official name ‘Lichtstruktur’, soon acquired its famous worldwide nickname ‘Atomic’. This fascinating vintage pendant lamp is namely directly inspired by the beautiful structure of an atom or molecule. This authentic lamp was produced by the Swiss manufacturer ‘Swiss Lamps International’ in the early 1970s.
