Beautiful wooden bridge chair and green skai. Structure, bent armrests and solid wooden feet. The chair has retained the comfort of its seat. Good seating... It can be put everywhere... In a bedroom, behind a desk and even in the extra-chair lounge... A must have vintage décor to bring warmth and a cozy feel to your interior. The little story of the bridge chair: The "bridge" chair appears after the first world war. It is inspired by these 18th century ancestors, office and dining room armchairs. Extremely easy to handle by its volume, it was willingly placed around game tables, hence its name. Very quickly it established itself as a reference piece of art deco of the roaring twenties (20/30). In the 1950s, designers never dried up their imaginations to turn it into different models for each other. Even today, designers are inspired to create armchairs, but our pretty forerunner is still the young first! In terms of the functional aspect, its seat is about 44 cm, the square feet under the seat go rounding at the base, the wood is slightly curved, giving it a tapered appearance. The back and seat are padded for comfort and covered with either fabrics, leather or skai. The curved wooden armrests also bring it even more softness. Its light look, these simple and airy lines have made it one of the musts of the upscale salons of the good old days. In the 1950s, his mass production offered him a prominent place in the most popular interior decorations of the post-war period. (text inspired by prima house in deco story).
