Set of 6 antique flat plates in Terre de Fer from the Saint-Amand & Hamage factory (Northern France), iconic "Jardinière" pattern circa 1920-1930. Cobalt blue English-style printed decoration: floral frieze on the rim and a different central bouquet on each plate (roses, thistle...). A service collected over time, in its original condition, highly sought after for a chic country table or a plate wall. Authenticity guaranteed: each plate bears the blue stamp "St Amand Jardinière" on the back as well as the embossed mention "Terre de Fer". Diameter: 23.5 cm. Material: Terre de Fer earthenware. Colour: Ivory white and blue. Period: 1920-1930. Very good vintage condition. Glossy glaze with small crazing and micro-chips typical for plates of 100 years. A few light marks.
