Coffee table - Table with wheels - Gae Aulenti - Fontana Arte - c. 1980

Coffee table known as "tavolo con ruote" by Gae Aulenti, published by Fontana Arte. It is an iconic piece of 20th-century design. It is part of the collections at the MOMA in New York. This coffee table, designed by Italian architect Gae Aulenti in 1980, features a 15mm thick bevelled float glass top. The legs are industrial wheels with black varnished metal forks that contrast with the lightness of the glass and allow for easy movement of the table from one place to another in the living room. This table is available in four different sizes. Our table is the largest version. There are two chips on the corners of the table. Circa 1980.
