Very beautiful, almost intact example with a contoured edge and small floral motif. Nevers earthenware is a ceramic production from the nevers region which experienced strong development from the end of the 16th century when louis gonzague, duke of nevers, brought in earthenware makers from italy. In the 17th and 18th centuries, nevers earthenware was at its peak. Dimensions 23 cm 9 inch oa2.2.
