Set of 6 folding outdoor chairs by Reguitti, 1970s

A set of six folding outdoor chairs produced by Reguitti in the 1970s, characterised by a white-painted wooden structure and a restrained design conceived to combine practicality and lightness. Their simple lines and slatted construction give the chairs an informal appearance, suitable for furnishing terraces, gardens and outdoor spaces. The frame consists of angled legs connected by horizontal crossbars, with a seat formed by slender, slightly curved wooden slats following the contours of the body. The backrest is composed of two horizontal elements fitted between the side uprights, while metal hinges and folding mechanisms allow each chair to be completely folded, reducing its size when not in use. The legs are fitted with protective end caps. The uniform white finish emphasises the simplicity of the construction and the regular rhythm of the wooden elements. The folding mechanism and compact proportions make these chairs particularly versatile, representative of Italian folding outdoor furniture from the 1970s, in which functionality and attention to construction details were combined in objects designed for everyday use.
