Amphora lamp with zoomorphic handles

Elegant and uncommon small empire style lamp of the 1950s with zoomorphic handles. The barrel is in white opaline, the foot (with geometric patterns) and the handles in gilded bronze (winged figures very finely chiseled, in the antique style) The oval lampshade (original) is made of scalloped ecru fabric and golden stripes. Superb period havana twisted fabric power cord. Please note: A lack of opaline at the base of the barrel (see last photo) For the rest the set is impeccable: lampshade free of any snag or dirt and gilded bronze free of accident. Note only a slight fraying of the twisted fabric on about 5 cm at the base of the lamp (not very visible) Perfect working order. Total height: 32.5 cm.
