Midcentury leather and teak "Gotland" sofa, Ikea, Sweden, 1967

This sofa was designed and manufactured in 1966 for Ikea and created by Åke Fribýter. It is named Gotland and refers to one of the Swedish counties. It was made as a quality piece for Ikea and received numerous design awards in its time. This sofa, with its black leather and dark-stained teak frame, offers a truly pleasant vintage look. In good vintage condition with wear and patina. Dimensions: L 215cm, D 80cm, H 70cm, seat height 38cm.
