Vintage 70s-80s Lamp - Sculpted Stone Base & Painted Silk Shade

For sale: a superb vintage table lamp (circa 1980), combining the strength of Brutalist style with the finesse of French craftsmanship. The Base: Made from natural stone (such as Beaunotte stone or Estaillades limestone), sculpted in the shape of a hollow wheel. Minimalist and organic design, very close to the creations of Albert Tormos. The Shade: A unique piece made of hand-painted wild silk, signed VALLET. Refined floral decoration featuring hibiscus in gradient tones of old pink, grey, and sage green. Condition: Very good overall condition. The electrification is original and fully functional. Note a slight natural mark from time on the back of the shade, which is hardly visible once the lamp is in place. A character piece, ideal for a bohemian chic, Scandinavian, or modernist interior decor. Preferably hand delivery due to the weight of the stone base.
