Set of 6 oak chairs, refurbished, Art Deco style, vintage, France

Set of six solid oak chairs, manufactured by E.M.D., a furniture artisan based in Rosny-sous-Bois, France. These pieces feature an openwork band backrest adorned with a sculpted relief motif depicting a stylized basket of flowers, typical of the Art Deco style of the late 1930s and early 1940s. The structure, in perfect condition, is distinguished by straight lines and sturdy construction. The seat has been recently restored or reupholstered in a textured, clean, and taut ecru fabric, providing comfort and elegance. The chairs measure approximately 87 cm in total height, 41 cm in width, and 41 cm in seat depth. Seat height: 44 cm. The set is homogeneous and in very good overall condition, with some very slight signs of use on the wood (micro-scratches or normal signs of wear for their age). No looseness in the joints.
