Small BBPR side table for Olivetti of the Arco model

"arco" model side desk designed in 1963 by studio bbpr for olivetti arredamenti. Bbpr was a partnership set up in milan in 1932 and bringing together the architects gianlugi banfi, lodovico barbiano di belgiojoso, enrico peressutti and ernesto nathan rogers. The metal base unscrews and supports a writing surface made of bakelite, a plastic material used in the first half of the 20th century for its insulating and heat-resistant properties. Marked under the top and under the feet: "olivetti arredamenti metallici". Numbered 62/182. This vintage style side desk with an industrial look is a classic of 60s design.
