Elegant teak chest of drawers from the Danish manufacturer Nexø, based on a design by Johannes Sorth from the 1960s. This chest stands out for its simple shape as well as its design details and craftsmanship. It features a total of six drawers, with the two upper drawers having practical divisions inside. The top drawer is lockable. The frame surrounding the body has a wide bevel towards the inside, creating shadows and light effects that highlight the frame in contrast to the recessed drawer fronts. The soft curves of the solid wood handles contrast with the angular body. Another feature is the change of material at the base, made of oak, contrasting with the teak of the body. The quality craftsmanship is reflected in the veneer on the front, with a continuous pattern on the drawer fronts. The chest is in very good condition with signs of wear and a patina.
