BACCARAT 1907 cut crystal carafe model 9157 H29cm

This sublime crystal carafe comes from the baccarat crystal manufacture. This richly cut model dates from the 1900s and joins the tradition of baccarat excellence. This decoration is present in the baccarat crystal factory catalog from 1907 on plate 87: shape 9157 and size 9247. This carafe is decorated with rounded petals cut with crossed bevels and deployed palmettes. Of perfect transparency and high quality, the cut is rich and fine, made on the wheel. The foot is cut in a star. The stopper is original, it is numbered 10 like the carafe. Baccarat only signed its production after 1936, before a small label was simply affixed. This model is not signed but referenced in the catalog. You will also find glasses of this model in stock. In beautiful condition, this carafe measures 29 cm in height and 12 cm in diameter. I note scratches from use, particularly on the foot and a milky deposit in the carafe.
