High-Backed Chairs in Lacquered Vienna Straw, 1970s, Set of 2

A stunning and extremely rare pair of highly sought-after designer dining chairs, made circa 1970. Italian craftsmanship. The frame is entirely made of black lacquered wood with a geometric shape, and the seat and backrest are upholstered in Vienna straw. Only one seat has a hole in the straw (easily repaired with a light restoration); the rest of the frame shows slight and obvious signs of wear due to use and age. Regardless, this pair of chairs remains a wonderful designer piece of furniture, easily paired with any modern or contemporary décor, enhancing its essence.
