Ceramic bowls, crafted from the expertise of the pottery village of Bát Tràng in Vietnam, from the 1960s to 1970s. These two pieces engage in subtle dialogue: one, elongated in shape, is distinguished by a finely traced decoration in bluish ink, where dragonflies and stylised foliage evoke an almost calligraphic aesthetic; the other, square, offers a freer and more vibrant interpretation of the same motif, in a palette of red, green, and yellow with spontaneous accents. Productions from Bát Tràng during this period feature ceramics with satin ivory hues, almost milky, with a soft, matte, and subtly velvety finish that captures light delicately. A slightly nuanced glaze and hand-painted decorations, both naive and expressive, inspired by nature. Rectangular bowl: 28.5 cm X 17.5 cm. Square bowl: 14.5 cm X 14.5 cm. In beautiful vintage condition, with slight signs of age and fine nuances in the glaze (see photos). An ideal duo for an organic modern and mix & match decor, where craftsmanship and graphic lines meet in a very contemporary collection spirit.
