DESCRIPTION ​For sale is an exclusive pair of the legendary DS 80 daybeds by de Sede. These designs from the 1970s feature world-class craftsmanship and striking patchwork leather in a rare, warm cognac tone. The various accessories allow for a wide range of arrangements, inviting creative interior design. ​The set offered here and shown in the images includes one daybed consisting of a base frame, a removable railing, and the matching mattress. In addition to two small cushions, three further large cushions are included. In the true spirit of 1970s style, these were already used by the original owner as floor cushions against the wall to expand the living room with additional seating. ​A second daybed is also available and features the same characteristics. CONDITION Considering their age, the items are in very good original condition. The leather is firm, supple, and free of cracks. It features a characterful patina with natural variations, creasing, as well as minor, inconspicuous spots and color differences, which bear authentic witness to the history of these classics.
