Vintage woven box - Fruit decor in slipware

Square white box, made of woven ceramic or wickerwork, typical of the artisanal productions from the Bassano region of Italy, vintage 1960s. The lid is adorned with a delicate relief decoration of fruits (apples/apricots) in bright polychrome glazing, adding a colourful and spring-like touch. In good vintage condition. Please note some chips in the glaze on the woven strands (visible in the photos), which is typical for these fragile pieces and attests to their age. No major cracks or restorations. Dimensions: Square of 14 x 14 cm. Height: 10 cm with lid (5 cm without the lid).
