Brutalist oak square coffee table with copper top, Netherlands 1950s

Mid-century Brutalist style coffee table. Made from oak. The sides of the table are decorated with copper strips embossed with hieroglyph-style symbols. The top is made from wood with copper-clad edges. It is covered with a copper plate that is riveted to the edges with copper rivets. The table has been cleaned, sanded, and given a new coat of furniture oil. The top has been polished with copper polish. The table is in good condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use.
