Very elegant box by Bernard Buffat - La Grange aux Potiers - glazed ceramic box - 60s/1970 design. Total dimensions approximately. Height 14 cm. Diameter 9.5 cm. Bernard Buffat learned ceramics by doing an internship with Jean-Marie Paquaud at the Chals pottery. Bernard worked with René and Madeleine from Valence at La Grange aux Potiers from 1961 to 1963 and from late 1964 to 1974. During this time, he produced large pieces, some of which were exhibited in 1970 at the museum in Chalon sur Saône. In parallel, he produced stylised and unique personal pieces.
