Spider floor lamp designed by Joe Colombo for Oluce, 1960s

Vintage design floor lamp called 'Spider' designed by Joe Colombo in 1965. The hood of this lamp is height adjustable and can be tilted using a plastic hinge. The lamp has some signs of use on the lacquer on the base, but is otherwise in very nice vintage condition. The special Hammerhead lamp is included in the price. This is a new energy-efficient LED version with a value of €40. In 1967 Spider was awarded the Compasso d'Oro. It is part of the permanent collections of the Milan Triennale, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf and the "Neue Sammlung" Museum in Munich. In 1972 it was shown at the "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape" exhibition in New York.
