XXL traditional pottery old 19th century folk art 42 cm

The pottery is in very good condition, it is not damaged, no notable chips. However, it is very old, and shows numerous traces of use, due to wear and tear. It is also covered with numerous irregularities which date from the manufacturing, artisanal, very raw, which gives it a crazy charm. This type of regional pottery was traditionally used for food use, serving to preserve oils and other foodstuffs. It was turned by a potter, and the clay was left very raw, with a matt appearance. The material is truly magnificent, and the patina of time, prodigious. Very beautiful object of popular art, exceptional due to its generous format, and its beautiful olive shape with a straight neck. French regional artisanal production from the very beginning of the 19th century.
