Vintage amber glass table set, consisting of a salad bowl and a matching plate stand. The salad bowl features a flared shape and a geometric relief design. Its thick glass reveals a beautiful depth of colour, ranging from honey amber to golden brown shades depending on the light. The plate stand, with a polygonal shape, echoes the same formal language and supports the salad bowl on its central ring. Dimensions: • Salad bowl: diameter 20 cm – height 8 cm • Plate stand: diameter 23.5 cm – height 2.5 cm Estimated dating: 1940s–50s. The aesthetic and type of glassware strongly evoke the French Vereco productions of the mid-20th century. However, no visible markings allow for a definitive attribution. A particularly interesting set for a vintage table, a centrepiece, a presentation of fruits or desserts, but also as a decorative piece. To note transparently: a fine internal inclusion in the glass, commonly referred to as a "straw." It is visible to the eye at the bottom of the salad bowl but remains perfectly smooth and undetectable to the touch. It corresponds to a manufacturing irregularity of the glass. An antique piece with a very graphic charm, whose amber glass takes on a beautiful warmth under the light. Recommended price: €35 #amberglass #vintageglass #1950s #tableart #brocante
