Set, planter, urn and pedestal column. Ceramics, signed ALFAL A sumptuous decorative set, consisting of a large planter and its matching pedestal in glazed earthenware. This is a high-end production from the famous Portuguese manufacturer ALFAL (Alcobaça), made in the traditional and baroque style of Italian Capodimonte productions. The set is fully signed and numbered under the base. Reference 509/2. This attests to its authenticity (hand-painted) Neo-Romantic style. Rich relief mouldings, hand-painted floral decorations in delicate pastel tones of pink, violet, green, and highlights of gold. Very good overall condition. The colours remain vibrant and the glaze is perfectly shiny. Dimensions: 107 cm high. 29 cm in diameter. An ideal centrepiece to enhance an entrance or a veranda with a vintage and elegant touch.
