Designed by Arne Vodder for Cado in the 1960s, this Danish stool made of teak and leather represents an interesting approach to supplementary seating. The wooden frame supports a wide padded surface, creating a piece with compact dimensions but a strong presence. The seat, slightly rounded at the corners, is covered in brown leather showing creases, color variations, and signs of use consistent with its history. The padding gives the top a soft and slightly convex profile. The straight teak legs taper downwards and are connected by crossbars that ensure the stability of the structure. This stool, with a height of about 40 cm, can be used as extra seating in the living room, a footrest next to an armchair, or a small accessory in the bedroom. The original leather, with its marks of time, contributes to the authentic character of the piece, making it particularly interesting for vintage furniture enthusiasts preserved in their original condition.
