Sylvain Hublet stoneware art jug

This art object is in an exceptional state including a hue and patina with metallic reflections. It has a very harmonious balance of its general shape and bears its signature crossed out, characteristic on the underside (shublet) as well as the following identification number: (227 d) Dimension: Height: 32 cm. Width (spout to hip): 34 cm. Diameter: 19 cm. Weight: 3 kg. Sylvain hublet was a belgian master potter based in the belgian ardennes in mont-sur-marchienne. His workshop was in val d'heure. Hublet was employed from 1905 to 1988. Most of his works date from after 1930 and have obvious art deco influences.
