Old brass library lamp with adjustable green shade.

Original and functional, this elegant antique brass library lamp also has a playful side! Its green lampshade can be raised, lowered, and rotated 360°, allowing you to direct the light as you wish thanks to an ingenious adjustment system. Made from an old, fine, rigid, and translucent plastic, the lampshade evokes the early use of plastic in lighting. It lets light through and adds a touch of modernity that contrasts beautifully with the retro charm of the brass base. A lamp full of personality, as decorative as it is practical, perfect for a desk, a library table, or a reading nook. The whole piece is in very good condition, with a beautiful patina on the brass. Functional electricity, yellow textile cord with switch and plug connection. Dimensions: H 51 cm, Base diameter 13 cm, Lampshade diameter 15 cm. Weight: 1.8 kg.
