Athenian mahogany and marble side table, Empire style, early 20th century

Athenian mahogany, mahogany veneer, and marble side table, Empire style, early 20th century. Side table composed of a circular mahogany veneer belt. An anthracite-colored marble. The whole is supported by three solid mahogany columns decorated with bronze rings at the top and bottom. A concave helix base, also in mahogany veneer. This elegant and very easy-to-place small piece of furniture has been cleaned, sanded, treated, and waxed. A few minor flaws, particularly on the veneer of the circular upper part (see photos). A chip under the marble is invisible when the side table is installed (last photo). Height: 109 cm. Marble diameter: 32 cm. Good condition and good stability.
