Eames Herman Miller DSW side chairs in grey, black, ochre and green with imperfections

Set of 4 dsw side chairs designed by charles and ray eames and made by herman miller in the late 50s/early 60s. Original fibreglass shells mounted on shockmounts with wooden bases. Colours (left to right) are: light ochre, black, dark olive & elephant hide grey. All with original herman miller stamp. Mounted on dowel bases. Recent base. These are grade b seconds with very slight flaws to the shells so that they don't meet the grade of the high standard chairs we sell. Nonetheless, they are perfectly useable and sound and are priced accordingly. Please see photos for specific details as to condition. In particular: Dark olive - discolouration to seat. Light ochre - discolouration to seat. Elephant hide grey - very fibery slightly rough to the touch but no cracks or repairs, fine to sit on. Black- small crack on the top which has been repaired. They are all structurally sound. The seats and bases will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired.
