Danish-loft-bench new

Industrial design meets traditional craftsmanship. The „danish loft bench“ features a hand-welded steel frame, custom mahogany end caps and a hand-woven seat. The seat consists of a continuous danish paper cord braided around l-shaped nails using a traditional craftsmanship method. For this purpose, mahogany strips are mounted below the steel frame. The frame of the bench is welded by hand, then blued (blackened) and oiled. The simple cross connections of the steel tubes are intended to emphasize both the traditional craftsmanship and the simplicity of the industrial design. The round wooden accents serve as end caps for the steel tubes on the one hand, and on the other hand they are intended to create a reference to the danish design classics of the 50s and 60s. Adjustable rubber feet ensure a non-slip grip and can compensate for slight unevenness in the floor. The seat is handcrafted to order in germany. Delivery period: 2-3 weeks. Measures in cm: L/w/h 102/52/50.5. Seat height: 45. Individual sizes can be requested.
