This comfortable lounge chair with matching ottoman is a characteristic example of Swiss design from the late seventies and early eighties. The set is attributed to designer and architect Robert Haussmann and demonstrates how comfort, technique, and design can harmoniously balance. The heavy chrome tubular structure forms a fluid base with a slight rocking effect. The chair offers several adjustable seating and reclining positions, allowing one to sit upright or relax comfortably while reclining. The generous cushions provide good support for the body and ensure seating comfort in all positions. The matching footrest follows the same formal language and perfectly complements the set in both use and appearance. The upholstery is made of high-quality black leather. In our workshop, the leather has been carefully deep cleaned and nourished with high-quality upholstery wax, preserving its suppleness and deep colour. The chrome tubular structure has been polished and protected with a maintenance wax, ensuring a clean shine and additional protection. The chair and ottoman are in very good vintage condition, technically checked. The set is ready for use and combines well with modern interiors as well as more pronounced mid-century decor.
