Storage jar, of Spanish origin, dating from the 18th century. This is a true Tinaja (large oil or wine jar) and a rare example of period craftsmanship. Raw terracotta with a deep patina and natural dark bands. Excellent overall condition for its age, with the wear and patina of time giving it its authenticity. Features a slight hole, see photos.
