Vase Méténier

Small vase with two handles in flamed sandstone. There are also crystallizations on the bottom of the vase, typical of gilbert méténier's work. Very beautiful piece, signed and in perfect condition. Very pretty blue and 'camel' colors. A bit of history... Gilbert méténier, son of ceramicist louis méténier, continued the family business until 1940. He would have destroyed the mussels and stopped producing as a result of the war. His pieces are therefore unique examples. He apparently destroyed all of molds and ceased producing ceramics after the war. His pieces are thus unique. Beautiful blue and brown/beige colors. In perfect condition, signed at the bottom.
