Midcentury modern decorative organic dish, handmade in the 1960s for Bing & Grøndahl by the artist Valdemar Petersen (1899-1991). Fantastic glaze in rusty brown earth tones. Model 7226. Stamped and signed. Beautiful vintage condition. Denmark, 1960s. During his career Valdemar Petersen worked primarily with ceramics and was known for his ability to combine traditional Danish ceramics with his own creative and modern approach.
