Very beautiful pair of armchairs from around 1970. Rare model by the French designer Michel Cadestin, a prolific creator known, among other things, for furnishing the Centre Pompidou, and produced by the equally famous company Airborne. The structure is made of foam shell, resting on a moulded plastic base, covered in a finely ribbed velvet fabric in cocoa tones (almost black). The armchairs have been completely reupholstered, with the foams and wadding checked, and the fabric washed and disinfected. Height at the back 80 cm, seat height 36 cm, width 84 cm, depth 90 cm. In excellent condition, with no wear, tears, or stains on the fabric; however, there is a slight difference in tone between the seats and armrests and the rest of the armchairs, likely due to slight fading from light, as well as some cracks in the base (common on these armchairs) with no impact. Emblematic of the design of this era, these armchairs with incomparable comfort will become key pieces in your living room decor. A must-have from the 70s that you shouldn't miss!!!
