WOOD VENEER AND BRONZE COFFEE TABLE, 1950s

Tripod coffee table in mahogany veneer with bronze legs, 1950s. The circular mahogany top is decorated with a radiating frill and rests on three tapered legs in black lacquered bronze, screwed to the top. An elegant piece that plays on contrasting materials and evokes the refined spirit of 1950s design, particularly the work of Jean Royère. Very good overall condition.
