Christofle Alfenide – Lot of 2 dessert forks model Paris silver-plated Art Deco

This set of 2 dessert forks is made of silver-plated metal from the Christofle silversmith. This Art Deco model is called "Paris." Dating from the early 20th century, it is marked "Alfenide" and bears the Christofle horseman hallmark. Created in 1850, the Alfénide alloy tends to imitate silver and gold. The "Alfénide" manufacture was acquired by Christofle in 1880. The guarantee hallmark for Alfénide plating is a mark of quality. In good condition, these forks measure 14 cm and show signs of use and wear to the plating.
