Antique vase in earthenware – tubular enamel decoration

Very pretty vintage ceramic vase, decorated with raised flowers on a deep blue background. The decoration is done using tubular enamelling: an ancient technique where the outlines are applied in relief, like glazing, and then filled with colours. This creates a very decorative and pleasant-to-touch cloisonné effect. Condition: Good overall condition, with no cracks or chips. Signs of wear under the base (see photo), invisible once placed. Height: 19 cm. Maximum diameter: 11 cm.
