Green Art Deco style commode (renovated)

Charming Art Deco chest of drawers from the 1950s, fully renovated in an elegant green. Its graphic lines and lovely proportions make it a piece that is both decorative and functional. Materials: made from solid wood, this chest retains its wooden knobs and old (non-functional) locks. It is dressed in the Card Room Green shade from Farrow & Ball. Features: the chest opens with four large drawers offering ample storage capacity. Its façade is accentuated by horizontal mouldings and fine fluted uprights, characteristic of its Art Deco aesthetic. Its compact dimensions allow for easy placement in a bedroom, hallway, or living room. Renovation: the Art Deco chest has been completely sanded and washed in the workshop, then painted in the Card Room Green shade from Farrow & Ball, a deep grey-green that particularly highlights its lines and reliefs. Dimensions: L80 x D45 x H90. Drawers: L61 x H13. Condition: the chest is sound, robust, and stable on its feet. Beneath the paint, it retains traces of its past life. The left knob of the first drawer is slightly different from the others. A lovely Art Deco chest of drawers with understated and graphic lines, reinterpreted in a soft shade that allows it to fit seamlessly into both traditional and contemporary interiors.
