Ceramic stoneware pitcher in cerulean blue with pine cone decoration, 20th century.

A small jug full of soul, handcrafted from dense and generous stoneware. Its globular silhouette, flared neck with a pinched spout, and ring handle give it a look that is both rustic and sculptural, somewhere between a cabinet of curiosities and an artist's studio. Branches and pine cones stand out against a textured golden-brown background, evoking tree bark or volcanic rock. It will naturally find its place on a shelf, within a collection of atypical ceramics or at the heart of a cabinet of curiosities. The ceramic is in beautiful condition and original. 12cm in diameter and 9.5cm in height. Visible in Colmar, delivery possible upon request.
