Beautiful earthenware set by the publisher emile bourgeois. This beautiful service consists of. 9 flat plates. 10 hollow plates. 10 dessert plates. 1 bowl. 2 round dishes. 2 oval dishes. Very good condition apart from small traces on the small oval dish. Set late nineteenth. Emile bourgeois' famous french-style store, located on rue 21, drouot, in paris, opened its doors in 1862 and until its closure in 1902, it was devoted exclusively to high-end porcelain. The owner of the shop, emile bourgeois (1823-1926), remained faithful to his philosophy for a long time: to present only the best in porcelain and earthenware.
