Antique bistro chair made of bent wood, popularised by manufacturers such as Thonet or Fischel in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is a bistro or café type chair. It features a backrest with three vertical rungs and curved wooden side supports under the seat, which gives it its legendary sturdiness. It is made of solid beech, ideal for steam bending, with a thermoformed plywood seat. Beautiful original patina with screwed joints. Very sturdy and in good condition. Width 36 cm, depth 40 cm, height 82 cm.
