Vintage wall coat rack from the 1950s.

Curved black lacquered tubular metal structure, serving as both a top hat stand and arms for clothing. Equipped with colourful balls as hooks, typical of the space age (here in yellow, red, and green). A characteristic triangular insert made of perforated sheet metal (a technique called Rigitulle, invented and popularised by Mathieu Matégot), lacquered in water green, designed to hold a matching triangular mirror. A beautiful iconic piece still in generally good condition, with some paint missing on the balls and the structure, which adds to its retro charm. L 73 X W 32 X H 25 cm.
