Pair of Earthenware Oil Lamps, electrified, Napoleon III style – Mid 20th century

Pair of electrified napoleon III style oil lamps. These white earthenware lamps are painted with pink and yellow flowers, leaves and branches. These plants worked in an asian style surround the body of these finely crafted lamps. The latter have a potbelly belly and a long neck topped with a chiseled bronze collar. Each lamp rests on a bronze base decorated with scrolls and pearls. At the top, large opaque glass globes are engraved with a large frieze with stylized floral motifs. ******** period: mid-20th century excellent condition. Electrification redone and operational.
