Authentic Longwy dish Black enamels poppy decoration Louis Valenti 1960

Longwy Plate Émaux Noirs Poppy Decor - Louis Valenti (Vintage 1960) Authentic oval plate from Longwy, part of the "Émaux Noirs" collection, dating from the 1960s. This stunning model features a beautiful floral decoration of poppies and daisies, hand-painted in slight relief, vibrant against a glossy black background. Signature: Official monogram of the artist Louis Valenti painted in green on the top (the characteristic stylised script of his signature). Very good overall condition. The glaze is shiny and the colours are very fresh. There are micro-scratches from use and a white raised mark that occurred during firing. Length 38 cm. Width 24 cm. Please note: True to many pieces from this 1960s series, the underside does not have a factory stamp, with the artist's signature serving as proof. A vintage piece ideal for collectors of Longwy or for refined retro/mid-century decor.
