Retro vintage 1948/1956, set of 12 hollow plates stamped villeroy & boch - mettlach - made in france saar - economic union - model 7012. On a background of white earthenware, the marli of the plates is decorated with 6 bouquets of multicolored field flowers (poppies, daisies, ears of wheat and blueberries) and golden floral motifs structured in lace. The edge is underlined by a golden border. Villeroy & boch was born in 1836. Some pieces are stamped "made in france-saar economic union", an economic and political union that existed from 1947 to 1956, the land of saarland then choosing to join germany. Dimensions (cm): diameter 23 X h4 (h12). Total net weight 5kg.
