Black Dedalo Umbrella Stand by Artemide, Italian 1960s Design

This umbrella holder / stand was designed by Emma Gismondi Schweinberger for Artemide. Its round shape makes it beautiful and interesting as a solo piece in the room or hallway. The body is made of moulded thermoplastic. It can hold 7 umberellas. The condition is well preserved, it shows its age and original state as a result of more than 60 years of use. Some scratches are seen (check photos), otherwise the condition is great and without any kind of damage, no cracks, no discoloration. Marked underneath: Studio Artemide Milano - Modello Dedalo - Made in Italy - Patent Pending. Height: 35 cm / 13.8 inch. Diameter: 38 cm / 14.96 inch. Weight: around 2kg.
